Graphic Design
Motmot can provide you with effective, dynamic design so loaded with cultural references you won't catch half of them. But somewhere, at some point, one of your clients will take note of the referential subtext, at which point you will be perceived as probably even cooler than Motmot actually is. Not that we don't have our own ideas, but we're armchair historians. We believe that to know where you're going, you need to know where you came from and where you are. T-Shirt Design
Motmot is comprised of a group of individuals that know the difference between Fred Perry and Fred Sanford, and why both are important to the formation of a proper sense of style. Our t-shirt side project has blown up into a full time hobby! Why do I say hobby? Because it's too much fun to be work!
Poster Design
Screen printing, offset printing, metal and wood type, sniffin' glue, x-acto blades, scotch tape, bubblegum; these are just a few of the sundry instruments in the Motmot toolbox, employed steady (rocking) by hands of (post-) teenagers. Print design is what Motmot is about, fusing a love for exotic animals, Lucha Libre and Irish modernist writers into a classic media machine. We love the smell of fresh ink on uncoated stock.
